How to Become a Donor or Surrogate
ELITE IVF, a Full-Service Egg Donor & Surrogate Agency – What our Patients Want
ELITE IVF seeks women between the ages of 18-34 years who have strong physical, emotional and psychological attributes. In addition to these requirements for our egg donation programs, our patients also expect the following:
- Impeccable medical screening results
- Proven fertility
- Attractive features
- College graduates in most cases
Initially, every donor applicant is requested to fill out a donor form. If a potential fit is seen, an interview with an ELITE IVF donor coordinator will be scheduled to determine if the prospective donor satisfies the medical and other screening requirements of our programs. Donors also meet with a fertility physician, laboratory staff member and psychologist to ensure that all requirements are met.
In addition, we are looking for donors that are willing to travel, as this possibility exists with several of our programs although donors who are unable to travel outside their home town are also welcome. In case of travel, a donor’s expenses are covered for flights, accommodations, and meals during their travel for the egg retrieval. An ELITE IVF on-site donor coordinator at the destination clinic is also provided to ensure that the process is implemented according to plan.
Open & Anonymous Donations
Depending on the preference of our patients and donors, we respect the wish for either an anonymous or open IDegg donation. An anonymous donation is when personally identifiable information about the donor is not disclosed to the intended parents. This allows the donor to maintain her privacy in years to come. An open donation, on the other hand, allows access to this information by the intended parents or the child, once he/she reaches the age of 18. Donors and recipients have full discretion in determining if they wish to be in an anonymous or open donation program.
Why Egg Donation Programs Screen Potential Donors & Surrogates
Like any responsible full-service egg donor and surrogacy agency, ELITE IVF requires all potential donors and surrogates to undergo laboratory tests (both blood and urine) to ensure that candidates are in excellent health and do not carry any infectious diseases or genetic disorders. ELITE IVF’s egg donation programs follow donor screening guidelines recommended by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
“we were at the clinic, I thanked the doctor. His response was to thank him when the baby will be born. You can now tell him that we thank him and all of your team every day! ” Audrey Payette & Christian Deblois
