ELITE IVF Supports Launch of New Virtual Resources During Infertility Awareness Week
TORONTO, ONTARIO April 22, 2020 — Many fertility patients across Canada have had to put their baby dreams on hold due to the temporary closure of clinics during the COVID-19 pandemic. To provide comfort and support, global fertility agency ELITE IVF has teamed up with registered charity Fertility Matters Canada to launch virtual resources during Canadian Infertility Awareness Week (April 19 to 25).
“Patients struggling with fertility challenges need support and hope right now. Infertility is already stressful and emotional, add a pandemic to that and it becomes incredibly difficult,” said ELITE IVF President and CEO David Sher. “The work that Fertility Matters Canada is doing aligns with our values, and we are honoured to work together to help the community through these difficult and uncertain times.”
With the theme of “We See You,” the focus of this new initiative is to build connection and a strong sense of community among Canadian fertility patients, health care providers and wellness experts via online resources and interactive counselling sessions. Hosted by Fertility Matters Canada, patients can access virtual sessions with fertility experts.
